WorldSBK stay in Spain ahead of testing on Monday

After an action packed Gaerne Spanish Round at the Circuito de Jerez, official testing gets underway on Monday the 17th of October at the Spanish circuit. Teams will use the extra track time to prepare for the final Round in Qatar in two weeks time.

Kawasaki Racing Team’s Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes will be using all the information gained on Monday to find out where they can gain on the impossibly fast Ducati of Chaz Davies. Rea will be especially interested to look for any advantages over his teammate Sykes, who has so far prevented him from achieving his second World Title at Jerez.

Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team duo Alex Lowes and Sylvain Guintoli will be looking to gain data that can help them in their final round campaign. Guintoli will be looking to repeat his results from 2014 at Qatar and any extra track time will help him along the way.

The Honda World Superbike Team pairing of Nicky Hayden and Michael van der Mark will see the Dutchman looking to understand the bike a bit as he had a few concerns with grip over the weekend.

Althea BMW Racing Team’s Jordi Torres and Markus Reiterberger will be present on Monday’s test and the number 21 rider will make use of the track time he can get as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury.
